Here follows a small sampling of landscapes in which we worked since our first field season in 2010.  The survey region in Ilgin district gives us opportunities to work in a variety of landscapes from alluvial plains to river valleys and lake basins, from verdant mountain terraces of Boz Dag to eroded karst uplands of Gavur Dag. 

Bulasan Valley

Bulasan valley connects the Ilgin Plain to the Atlanti Plain from the narrow isthmus by Kale Tepesi (Karakoy) all the way to Mahmudiye Village and eventually the modern small agricultural town of Atlanti.
